What NURS-FPX4900 Covers
NURS-FPX4900 Capstone Project for Nursing integrates knowledge and competencies developed across the BSN program into a sustained analysis of a patient, family, or population health problem. Learners examine the problem from leadership, collaboration, communication, change-management, policy, quality, safety, cost, technology, care-coordination, and community-resource perspectives before developing and presenting an evidence-based intervention.
Across the assessment sequence, learners define and analyze the health problem, examine organizational and clinical factors affecting outcomes, develop an intervention solution, present and reflect on the intervention, and document completion of the required practicum experience.
